Photos from the international Summer Camp 2017 in Trogen, Switzerland. The purpose of this exchange is to encourage children and the young people to critically reflect on their values and patterns of behavior and thus strengthen their personally identity.
Rheinefall and Technorama visit Center for education and Development took part at the Intercultural youth exchange in Duzce, Turkey with 6 participants and a Trainer. 44 youth from 5 European countries and Turkey joined the project that was named as Don’t Burn Your Future (Geleceğini Yakma in Turkish) which was organised on 01-09 July 2017 in Düzce, supported by European Union and Turkish National Agency.
Youths from Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Estonia and Turkey discovered Düzce and Turkey for a week, had cultural interactions and had information’s about fighting against smoking both practically and theoretically. Participant youths aim was to increase the awareness about decreasing the usage and addiction of smoking. During the project participants were informed about the smoking habit and addiction, and were encouraged for non-smoking life. Participants increased their awareness for struggling applications of smoking and increased their awareness that sport is the best presentation way for smoking. In addition to all this, interpretation and socialization were encouraged by our group. By making more sincere and intimate relationship among the participants they will make and prepare new projects in the future. At the end of the project all the participants get the certification of Youth pass which is reflecting their sufficiency and experience.
