Center for education and Development took part at the Intercultural youth exchange in Duzce, Turkey with 6 participants and a Trainer. 44 youth from 5 European countries and Turkey joined the project that was named as Don’t Burn Your Future (Geleceğini Yakma in Turkish) which was organised on 01-09 July 2017 in Düzce, supported by European Union and Turkish National Agency.

Youths from Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Estonia and Turkey discovered Düzce and Turkey for a week, had cultural interactions and had informations about fighting against smoking both practically and teorically. Participant youths aim was to increase the awareness about decreasing the usage and addiction of smoking. During the project participiants were informed about the smoking habit and addiction, and were encouraged for non-smoking life. Participiants increased their awareness for struggling applications of smoking and increased their awaraness that sport is the best preventation way for smoking. In addition to all this, interpretation and socialization were encouraged by our group. By making more sincere and intimate relationship among the participiants they will make and prepare new projects in the future. At the end of the project all the partcipants get the certification of Youthpass which is reflecting their sufficiency and experience.
