“Inter-religious Cooperation for a Sustainable Community” is a project being carried out by the Center for Education and Development-CED with full support from NDI – North Macedonia. The project aims to promote inter-religious communication and cooperation in the Polog Region to reach a sustainable development of the community. The project comes as a result of the support from NDI – North Macedonia which provides for projects related to the communication of state institutions, religious communities, non-governmental organizations with citizens to achieve sustainable development objectives in the country.
Currently, within the project, an analysis is being carried out which will detect obstacles, challenges, positive examples, communication and inter-religious cooperation through citizens, religious communities, or institutions. The analysis is being carried out through focus groups, which are being developed in the territory of the Polog Region.
The project has also presented the video-documentary “The (un)told Stories of Religious Celebration” which talks about the celebration of religious holidays, such as Orthodox Easter and Eid. The video-documentary was presented at the Premiere held at the Art Gallery in Tetovo, and the same can be found below:

As part of the project, a cycle of trainings and a final conference are expected to be held. Currently, the project continues its implementation in the Polog Region. For more information, follow our social networks!
