Centre for Education and Development (CED) is a non-governmental organization which works in the Municipality of Tearce region since December 2006. The organization has as a target group of young people 12 to 28 years, and to achieve its goals always activities including youth, teachers, parents, leaders of institutions and other leading organizations.According to its strategic plan, CED in the next three years as has its priorities: Reducing deviant behavior among young people, and that by organizing cultural and sports events, protection of the environment, through awareness raising activities of citizens, improving interethnic cooperation between the nationalities living in the region, organizing joint activities.
Young people have skills, knowledge, and attitudes to take on initiatives and build a healthy and developed community where different ethnicities peacefully coexist.

Since its foundation CED identified
ecology as their scope. This need has come as a result of many
activities and meetings with key people of the organization,
who have identified this area, and asked CED in the coming years to work in this program.

CED was hosting organization of the project “Social entrepreneurship for change”! Within the framework of this project, one youth exchanges was implemented with 36 young people, coming from 5 different countries, Sweden, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Macedonia. The exchange was held in Popova Shapka during 05-13 October, 2018.
The project aimed to increase the quality of youth opportunities for migrants and refugees by equipping young people with competencies necessary for development of social entrepreneurship ideas and projects.
On 13th January 2019 CED lost one of the main members, the 29 years old Besir Ramadani. This day was one of the hardest day not only for his family, but also for all those young people with whom Besir used to work for almost 4 years.
Since 2010 he was engaged in the NGO sector, initially part of the various activities as student, then volunteer in NGO "Student life" (organization from Albania), part of organizing the activity "A Life for Tetova" in co-operation with NGO "Student life ". After his studies in 2015, he continues his activity as a volunteer at the NGO "Center for education and development" (CED).
The 10th edition of the Beans Day was organized by Center for education and development - CED on 20 and 21st of September 2018 in Tearce, which was visited by approximately 600 citizens from several surrounding countries but also from also Europe.
This year the activity financially was supported by European Union funded project: “Regional cooperation and networking in the field of agriculture, rural and economic development of cross-border areas” implemented by East Europe and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and in cooperation with the EuroNatur and Municipality of Tearce.
Members of CED took part on Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course “Social Entrepreneurship for change” in Leipzig. Due to the current political and social situation in the world, Europe has faced the problem of huge waves of immigrants.
