Centre for Education and Development (CED) is a non-governmental organization which works in the Municipality of Tearce region since December 2006. The organization has as a target group of young people 12 to 28 years, and to achieve its goals always activities including youth, teachers, parents, leaders of institutions and other leading organizations.According to its strategic plan, CED in the next three years as has its priorities: Reducing deviant behavior among young people, and that by organizing cultural and sports events, protection of the environment, through awareness raising activities of citizens, improving interethnic cooperation between the nationalities living in the region, organizing joint activities.
Young people have skills, knowledge, and attitudes to take on initiatives and build a healthy and developed community where different ethnicities peacefully coexist.

Since its foundation CED identified

Center for Education and Development – CED, in partnership with Coalition of youth organizations SEGA, SPPMD from Kavadarci, MCGO Skopje and MAJKA from Kumanovo, announces call for the Summer Camp 2017 in Trogen, Switzerland. The purpose of this exchange is to encourage children and the young people to critically reflect on their values and patterns of behavior and thus strengthen their personally identity.
On 6th of May 2017 for seven years in a row, with the initiative of Center for education and development-CED and the local Chess Association “Blini Park”(Dobroshte) it was organized the regional tournament in Chess. This activity is supported by CED and it’s implemented within the cultural yearly programme.
Center for Education and Development – CED in the frame of the project “Improving the involvement of the women in local decision – making processes”, on 24th of April 2017 in Village Park of Bogovine, organized informative – consultative campaign with women’s in Municipality of Bogovine, which was financially supported from UN Women – Macedonia.
On the dates 17, 18 and 24, 25 March 2017, at the State University of Tetovo was held a training on career counseling for university students and young unemployed people. The training was organized by Youth Info Club, which on itself is a program managed by Center for Education and Development-CED and supported by UNDP in Macedonia. Topics of the training were: personal development, communication skills, leadership and work in groups, employment skills, and appropriate behavior in the workplace.
Local and urban communions are the main cell in the immediate concretization, creating of the needs of citizens and their achievement. However, the constitutional framework and the law on local self-government have no mandatory provision for the establishment of local and urban communions and thus they are marginalized in the decentralization process. As the imperative is pushed there is an increased need to create new forms and tools through networking at the local, regional, and national level. Because the legal forms and the change of the law on local self-government is a lengthy process, which provides constitutional changes as a precondition for changing the law on local self-government, which would strengthen their legal status, it is quite legitimate to network in the form of civic associations in the NGO sector.
In the period 10.01.-24.01.2017, 40 children from different part of Macedonia, together with children from Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina participated on an international exchange in the Children Village Pestalozzi, Switzerland. For these two weeks the kids used to live together and learn through the different workshops delivered by the PCF coordinators. The aim of this emancipatory approach is to enable young people to determine their own lives and to shape society as mature citizens in freedom. The Children’s Village was a “neutral” space that provides an ideal platform for encounters, experiences and reflections.
