About us

Centre for Education and Development (CED) is a non-governmental organization which works in the Municipality of Tearce region since December 2006. The organization has as a target group of young people 12 to 28 years, and to achieve its goals always activities including youth, teachers, parents, leaders of institutions and other leading organizations.According to its strategic plan, CED in the next three years as has its priorities: Reducing deviant behavior among young people, and that by organizing cultural and sports events, protection of the environment, through awareness raising activities of citizens, improving interethnic cooperation between the nationalities living in the region, organizing joint activities.

Young people have skills, knowledge, and attitudes to take on initiatives and build a healthy and developed community where different ethnicities peacefully coexist.

Become an international long-term volunteer in Halle (Germany)

The announcement is for a service in the period: middle of September 2022 until middle of September 2023 (12 months) within the program: “weltwärts”. Friedenskreis Halle e.V., is a coordinating organization for the developmental voluntary service “weltwärts”, the international long-term voluntary services within the German program “weltwärts”.

Youth Career Fair, 1st edition

foto panair coverCenter for Education and Development-CED in the framework of the project ‘Info Youth Club - Tetovo’ which is supported by UNDP in cooperation with the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences at SEEU organized on October 6 2021 the first edition of the ‘Youth Career Fair’. The fair was attended by companies, businesses, institutions and non-governmental organizations who presented their offers for employment, internship, training and career development to young people.

Training on Youth Advocacy

fotoYouthOn 4th September 15 young people successfully completed the one-day advanced training dedicated to youth on Youth Advocacy, implemented by the Center for Education and Development-CED with the support of the National Youth Council of Macedonia and USAID. Main goal of the program is to train youth how to design an advocacy campaign and advocate for a local problem in Tetovo. This way we're raising awareness and creating new generation who will be determined to advocate for the issue we face as youth.
