For the fourth time in a row NGO Center for Education and Development  - CED Tearce , in cooperation with Municipality of Tearce and Milieukontact Macedonia organized the manifestation Beans Day.

The goal of this manifestation is through creative way promoting beans as most famous polog’s culture and food. Also as a goal we have ,to start think about branding beans which means protecting, and that means more economic efficiency for beans farmers.

The whole event started with a debate to discuss the branding of beans and problems faced by farmers who grow beans, as well as its economic viability.

The event was enriched with the halva frying, roasting chestnuts and traditional dishes prepared by students from 3 schools from municipality of Tearce.

KUD Кiril Pejchinovik of Tearce had their performance and has performed 4 dances.

As a supporter of the event Milieukontakt Macedonia, had his own exhibition on climate change.

The event was attended by over 500 people, both local citizens and visitors from other towns in Macedonia.

Besides representatives of Tearce in event attended the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Valon Saraqini, representatives and experts from Milieukontakt Macedonia, professors at the universities of Skopje and Tetovo, representatives of schools of Kumanovo, National Coordinator for Pestalozzi Children Foundation- Macedonia , and many other guests.

Beans Day  as event grows year on year and is one of the few events that manages to overcome regional and ethnic borders and motivate people to participate actively in this event representing their products.
