Promoting children rights, 2nd Event

foto_JavaCenter for Education and Development - CED in cooperation with Children’s foundation Pestalozzi and the Coalitions of youth organizations SEGA in the frame of the project “Promoting children rights and intercultural communication “ 05 December 2014 (Friday) in the premises of the primary school “ Kiril Pejcinoviq “ – Tearce, it was organized tournament in volleyball between the  five primary school that are part of the municipality of Tearce.

Aim of this tournament was with reveal character, to promote Children rights and intercultural communication than competitors. In this tournament those primary schools from the municipality of Tearce toke part: "Eqrem Cabej", "Ismail Qemali", "Faik Konica" and "Kiril Pejcinoviq". The teams were mixed in ethnic aspects and also in gender aspect.

Before the start from the participant’s side was read a statement in three languages, the message was to protect children’s rights and also cooperation between children’s regardless ethnicity, religion or gender.

Here is the declaration:

“First of all we are children!”

This is the motto of today and for the whole project.

It should also be the motto for our life.

Because basically we all are the same, and we all want the same things.

No matter if we are Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish or any other nationality in the world.

We want food and a space to live, time to play and friends to play with.

We want someone to be there for us, no matter what we do.

We want to be well educated to be the master over our own future.

So let’s all together help to create a world where those simple rights are guaranteed for every child in the world.

Because first of all, we are children”
