Coalition of youth organizations SEGA in partnership with the Centre for Education and Development (CED) and in cooperation with Municipality Tearca began with the implementation of the project "Establishment of the Youth Council in Municipality of Tearce". The project is funded by the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

The project goal is to increase participation in decision making and policy making through the establishment of institutional mechanisms on the composition of the local community Tearce.

With creating of the Youth Council and Youth Parliament in municipalities in Macedonia we achieve the first step towards the establishment of youth participation in decision-making processes at the local level. This model of participation at the local level gives sense of belonging to youth and gives sense to be useful in society they live in and provide the conditions for active citizens.

In this period the Youth Parliament of Municipality of Tearce is forming. Youth parliaments are better ways for representation and participation of young people at European level, where young people through debates generate relevant to their needs locally.

The topics of youth parliaments are defined by the formation of as many groups for discussion of common problems that are a priority locally and directly open threads dealing with youth. Youth Parliament will be applied directly to youth participation in local community work and vocal will highlight the priorities of young people in the municipality.
