Training on Youth Advocacy

fotoYouthOn 4th September 15 young people successfully completed the one-day advanced training dedicated to youth on Youth Advocacy, implemented by the Center for Education and Development-CED with the support of the National Youth Council of Macedonia and USAID. Main goal of the program is to train youth how to design an advocacy campaign and advocate for a local problem in Tetovo. This way we're raising awareness and creating new generation who will be determined to advocate for the issue we face as youth.

Together for a Green Sharr

web coverCenter for Development and Education with the support of WWF Adria Croatia Foundation realize the project 'Together for a Green Sharr', from March 2021 to December 2021, aimed at the protection, care and development of Sharr Mountains, now officially announced in National Park category. The purpose of the project is to prevent damage to the environment, misuse of nature, illegal cutting of trees and environmental pollution.

Tv Debate on Civic Activism

tv21 1On April 12, 2021, the President of the Center for Education and Development - CED, Mr.Metin Muaremi participated in the debate show on "Social activism, despite political opportunism" conducted by the National television TV21. Other guests on the show included representatives of the civil sector, former members of the colorful revolution, a journalist and a former activist. What was emphasized was a reflection of the diverse revolution that took place in Northern Macedonia in 2016, and which was the only hope at that time for radical changes in society.

Info Club Tetovo 2020-2021

IClubfoto1Info Club, as part of the project "RISE" (Network for Resources, Information, Skills and Employability), financially supported by UNDP, since September has opened an office at the University of Southeast Europe, in Tetovo. This project will be implemented in cooperation with the University of Southeast Europe, specifically with the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences (SEEU), where students of this university will have the opportunity to receive information through the office, which is located in this faculty.  Within the project activities are foreseen information meetings with different opportunities for students, trainings on different topics, such as career development, training and self-employment and other.

Government of NMK: Declaring Sharr as National Park

New volunteers on CED

thumbnailFor the next 2 months, within the Erasmus+ EVS Program, CED is hosting three additional young volunteers from Turkey sent by SITODEDE (Sivil Toplum Destekleme Dernegi) and Kırklareli Provincial Directorate of National Education. The three of them will work on different projects with diverse themes such as art, culture, journalism and the promotion of youth work as part of CED. They are excited to start working on projects. Become an international long-term volunteer in Halle (Germany)

banerFKCenter for education and development - CED within the cooperation with Friedenskreis announces international long-term voluntary service in Germany. The announcement is for a service in the period: middle of September 2018 until middle of September 2019 (12 months) within the program: “weltwärts”. Friedenskreis Halle e.V., is a coordinating organization for the developmental voluntary service “weltwärts”, the international long-term voluntary services within the German program “weltwärts”. 

The aim of the weltwärts programme is to introduce young people to development issues, encourage their interest and involvement in development and enable them to undertake volunteer service in placements that are suitable for this purpose. The weltwärts programme gives young people the chance to take part in volunteer service in the field of development irrespective of their financial standing.
