Info Club Tetovo 2020-2021

IClubfoto1Info Club, as part of the project "RISE" (Network for Resources, Information, Skills and Employability), financially supported by UNDP, since September has opened an office at the University of Southeast Europe, in Tetovo. This project will be implemented in cooperation with the University of Southeast Europe, specifically with the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences (SEEU), where students of this university will have the opportunity to receive information through the office, which is located in this faculty.  Within the project activities are foreseen information meetings with different opportunities for students, trainings on different topics, such as career development, training and self-employment and other.

Government of NMK: Declaring Sharr as National Park

fotoSharri"Friends of Shara" welcome the Government's decision taken at the 49th Session on the Acceptance of the initiative to declare part of Shar Mountain a protected area in category II - National Park. With the proclamation of the NP Sharr Mountain, one of the largest cross-border protected areas in Europe will be formed, which will bring us closer to achieving the state strategic commitments for preserving our natural heritage.

New volunteers on CED

thumbnailFor the next 2 months, within the Erasmus+ EVS Program, CED is hosting three additional young volunteers from Turkey sent by SITODEDE (Sivil Toplum Destekleme Dernegi) and Kırklareli Provincial Directorate of National Education. The three of them will work on different projects with diverse themes such as art, culture, journalism and the promotion of youth work as part of CED. They are excited to start working on projects. Due to his backround in journalism, Orhan will teach students to take photos and videos. >>READ MORE<<

Resul Dagdelen has finished Atatürk University-Architecture of Desing Faculty-Landscape and Cansu Duman graduated Systematic Philosophy and Logic Department (TYL), Atatürk Üniversity, Erzurum (Türkiye), both experienced on the NGO sector.

Become an international long-term volunteer in Halle (Germany)

banerFKCenter for education and development - CED within the cooperation with Friedenskreis announces international long-term voluntary service in Germany. The announcement is for a service in the period: middle of September 2018 until middle of September 2019 (12 months) within the program: “weltwärts”. Friedenskreis Halle e.V., is a coordinating organization for the developmental voluntary service “weltwärts”, the international long-term voluntary services within the German program “weltwärts”. 

The aim of the weltwärts programme is to introduce young people to development issues, encourage their interest and involvement in development and enable them to undertake volunteer service in placements that are suitable for this purpose. The weltwärts programme gives young people the chance to take part in volunteer service in the field of development irrespective of their financial standing.

Football People - Actions Weeks

FareLogoCED, one of thousands backing the Football People movement Inspired by an international movement of more than 100,000 people, will be joining the #FareFootball People action weeks on 12.10.2017 ( 13.00hrs ) at Tearce Stadium when it holds a Football Tournament for bringing children from many schools to play together on the final event which will be held in Tearce and to promote anti-discrimination values.

CED took part of the EU- Western Balkans Youth Forum

333Vladimir Gjorgjevski, Project Manager at CED took part at the EU- Western Balkans Youth Forum as a reporter of the working group for entrepreneurship. The connecting Youth- Moving forward EU- Western Balkans Youth Forum took place on 11- 12 July 2017 in Trieste in the margins of the Western Balkans summit. The forum constitutes a unique platform of exchange and dialogue, bringing together 130 young people, youth organizations, academia and decision makers from the Western Bakans and the EU Member States to discuss common challenges and work towards finding joint solutions.

CED part of youth exchange in Turkey

Center for education and Development-CED took part at the Intercultural youth exchange in Duzce, Turkey with 6 participants and a Trainer. 44 youth from 5 European countries and Turkey joined the project that was named as Don’t Burn Your Future (Geleceğini Yakma in Turkish) which was organised on 01-09 July 2017 in Düzce, supported by European Union and Turkish National Agency.

Reaction from “Friends of Sharr”

fotoSharr3Non Governmental Organizations and individuals in the Polog and Skopje region, known as  “Friends of Sharr” platform, which campaigns to proclaim the Sharr Mountains a national park, react harshly against recent developments in these mountains, such as the opening of mountain roads in the unique landscape of the Sharr Mountains,  in the site known as Leshnica.  “Friends of Sharr” deem the construction of roads in the heart of the future park to be inappropriate and disturbing to the wildlife of this habitat.

Summer Camp 2017 in Trogen

IMG 0127Center for Education and Development – CED, in partnership with Coalition of youth organizations SEGA, SPPMD from Kavadarci, MCGO Skopje and MAJKA from Kumanovo, announces call for the Summer Camp 2017 in Trogen, Switzerland. The purpose of this exchange is to encourage children and the young people to critically reflect on their values and patterns of behavior and thus strengthen their personally identity.

Training's on Career Counseling

coverInfotrajnimOn the dates 17, 18 and 24, 25 March 2017, at the State University of Tetovo was held a training on career counseling for university students and young unemployed people. The training was organized by Youth Info Club, which on itself is a program managed by Center for Education and Development-CED and supported by UNDP in Macedonia. Topics of the training were: personal development, communication skills, leadership and work in groups, employment skills, and appropriate behavior in the workplace.
